Who this covers
This policy explains how NuruState ("NuruState", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit nurustate.com (the "Site"), contact us, or ask about our services. We build AI automation for CPG manufacturers and sell it through fixed-fee assessments and pilots.
It covers visitors and prospective customers. Information we handle for customers during an assessment or pilot is governed by the agreement we sign with that customer, and that agreement takes priority over this policy if the two differ.
What we collect
What you give us
When you use a form on the Site or email us, you may give us:
- your name, work email address, and phone number;
- your company name, industry, and annual revenue range;
- your main operational pain point and anything else you write in a message.
How the contact forms work. When you submit a form, it sends your answers to NuruState through its hosting, Firebase, email and Cloudflare Turnstile providers. Turnstile helps prevent spam. The email provider routes your message to our inbox.
What our hosting provider records
Like most websites, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider. Its servers automatically log technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We do not use these logs to identify you or to build profiles.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Site is used, for example which pages are visited most. It does not set cookies. It records aggregated information about each visit, such as the page viewed, the referring site, the country, and the browser, operating system and device type. Instead of a cookie, a visit is recognized by a hash generated from the incoming request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours. We cannot use this data to identify you, and we do not combine it with other information.
What we do not collect
The Site does not use advertising trackers or cookies. Its contact forms load Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send it through the Site (see our Terms of Service).
How we use information
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your questions and schedule discovery calls and assessments;
- prepare proposals and scopes of work for your facility;
- keep records of our business conversations;
- protect the Site and our business, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Customer and operational data
During an assessment or pilot we may access a customer's operational records, for example production and quality data, maintenance logs, schedules, and time-clock or training records that can include information about the customer's employees.
We treat this as the customer's confidential data. We use it only to deliver the agreed services unless the customer's agreement says otherwise, we limit access to people who need it, and we handle it under the terms of that agreement. If you are an employee of a customer and have a question about your data, please contact your employer first.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as it is useful for responding to you and for our business records, and then delete or anonymize it. Customer data is kept and returned or deleted as the customer agreement provides. We may keep information longer where the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and email in particular is not a secure channel, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live, such as California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
To make a request, email sales@nurustate.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will respond within the time the law allows.
Children's privacy
The Site is for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
NuruState serves manufacturers in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Other websites
The Site may link to other websites, such as a customer or partner site. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the Site.
